My 200 Squat Challenge

I remember 2003, just graduating college, I was in the best since sophomore year in high school. I remember sophomore year, I could run 5 miles, no problem. 2003, I could bench 400lbs, no problem. I dropped a lot of weight. Then something happen. Life. I stopped lifting weights. Stopped exercising. 2010, I am probably in the WORST shape of my life and on top of that, I fear of future health issues. If I want to live to see my future kids grow up and to grow old with the one I love, something needs to change.

I am not a fan of the surgery to fix my weight and health issues. It should be the LAST resort. I have lost weight in the past and I know I can do it again. So, today I have decided to record my progress on my blog about the things I am doing to get myself into better health and shape. I will be posting progress not only in post, but as well in the sidebar. I hope you join me on this journey of losing me. I need the encouragement. First 3 things I will be doing.

  • Recording Calorie Count
  • Walking 30 minutes at least 3x a week
  • 6 Week 200 Squat Workout

I just did an exhaustion test for the 200 squat program.

State of the Blala Address: Change, Fix, Progress

2009 to me was a year of change for me. It was a year for me to start getting things together in my life and to start doing things right. I met some great people. I’m doing a web show that I love to do (twobeerqueers). Most importantly, I am very much grateful to have friends and family that I love and love me back. 2010 this year for me is the year of fixing things that went FUBAR previously to 2009 that need fixing and to also continue to maintain and progress with everything that was gained from 2009.
